UAE Non-Oil Business Activity Surges to Nine-Month High in December

 The United Arab Emirates' non-oil private sector recorded its fastest expansion in nine months in December 2024, buoyed by strong domestic demand and increased business activity, according to the latest S&P Global Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) report. PMI Highlights Robust Growth The seasonally adjusted UAE PMI climbed to 55.4 in December from 54.2 in November, signaling robust growth well above the 50.0 threshold that separates expansion from contraction. This marked the third consecutive monthly increase, underscoring sustained recovery in the non-oil sector. Key drivers of growth included a notable rise in new business activity. To enter the United States of America, spouses of dependents require an L2 visa. Unmarried kids of eligible L1 visa holders who are under 21 can enter the country for the same period as their parents using this non-immigrant visa.

The L2 visa has various benefits, including the opportunity to work full-time or part-time after approval, transfer to another non-immigrant status, attend school or study full-time in the US, and make frequent short international journeys in and out of the country.

The spouse of the individual must be an eligible L1 visa holder, and the L1 visa holder's children must be unmarried and under 21 years old in order to qualify for an L2 visa.

How to apply?

The following are the stages to applying for an L2 visa: To arrange the interview, complete the DS-160 form, print the confirmation sheet, and pay the visa fees.

The following items are needed to apply for an L2 visa: an appointment letter for the interview, a printout of the DS-160 form, a passport, a birth certificate, a marriage certificate, a photo album from the wedding, pages from the passport of the L1 holder, an employment verification letter, and the L1 visa holder's income tax returns.

The L2 visa processing time ranges from fifteen days to one month, but it occasionally goes over this limit.
