This meeting highlighted the enduring fraternal bonds and collaborative efforts between the two neighboring nations. Mohammed Rashid’s Initiative ‘1 Billion Meal’ Collaboration With World Food Programme To Help Refugees In Bangladesh

  Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Minister Of Defence of the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ) as well as the ruler of Dubai, launched the ‘1 Billion Meals’ initiative to help underprivileged people in Bangladesh. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is the name behind this initiative. It is launched in collaboration with WFP (World Food Programme), an international organization within the United Nations (UN) that provides food assistance across the world. Mohammed Rashid’s ‘1 Billion Meals’ helped the underprivileged and undernourished people in Bangladesh. Under the initiative, the UAE distributed 5.4 million meals in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. The UAE is always committed to helping people and countries in need.
