Image

However, just like the narrative arcs of our favorite stories, there’s something deeply satisfying about a well-executed conclusion—one that feels both rewarding and fulfilling. Whether it's a personal goal, a professional project, or even a cherished movie or book, the feeling of completion is something we all strive for. It brings a sense of peace, knowing that despite the ups and downs, there was a purpose behind every step we took. And when the ending is good, it makes all the struggles worthwhile. The Importance of Completion In a world that moves at such a rapid pace, we often rush through tasks and events, focusing on the next big thing before we’ve even processed the current one. Yet, completing something gives us the chance to reflect. We can look back and appreciate the ...

Beijing rejects "false" US claim that China considering arming Russia in Ukraine war

Image
The US on Sunday accused China of considering supplying weapons to Russia in its war against Ukraine, a claim Beijing rejected as "false". The allegations escalated already simmering tensions as the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine approaches. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CBS on Sunday that the Asian country may provide "lethal support" to Moscow ranging "from ammunition to the weapons themselves", reiterating warnings about a serious problem in the relationship. On Monday, however, China's foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin accused Washington of proliferating "false information", urging the US to "stop shifting blame" and "earnestly reflect on its own actions" in relation to the US's endless shipping of "weapons to the battlefield". Blinken shared similar comments in a number of interviews from Germany, where he attended the annual Munich Security Conference on Sa...

USA slaps sanction son Russian oil firm because of Venezuela

The US Treasury Department has included in the sanctions list SDN (the most stringent, blocking sanctions) Rosneft Trading subsidiary, Rosneft Trading, the US agency announced.   Swiss Rosneft Trading is included in the sanctions list for "work in the oil sector of the Venezuelan economy."   Rosneft Trading assets in the US jurisdiction must be blocked, American persons are prohibited from doing any business with it.   However, US sanctions have implications for non-US counterparties Rosneft Trading.   The Venezuelan sanctions program, which runs Rosneft Trading, implies the possibility of imposing sanctions against individuals and companies from any jurisdiction that provide "substantial assistance" to the SDN list.   In other words, a European or Asian company runs the risk of being sanctioned by the United States if it continues to cooperate with Rosneft Trading.   Individuals and legal entities from outside the United States can curtail c...

Trump and Erdogan condemned Russia's support for the Syrian government

US President Donald Trump, in a telephone conversation on February 15 with Turkish leader RecepTayyip Erdogan, stressed the concern about the situation in Idlib and expressed the desire that Russia should stop supporting the Syrian government.   This is stated in a statement distributed on Sunday evening by the White House’s deputy spokeswoman, Judd Deere. "The US president expressed concern about the violence in Idlib and thanked the Turkish president for his efforts to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe," the White House informed.   The situation in Idlib sharply worsened after the Russian and Turkish military made another attempt to introduce a regime of silence, but the terrorists only intensified their attacks.   As a result, military experts from the Russian Federation and Turkey died.   The Syrian army retaliated against extremists, taking on February 5 the city of Sarakib near Idlib. On the morning of February 11, the Syrian opposition, support...

How Erdogan Has Indirectly Favoured ISIS

As Erdogan gears up to bully the Kurds out of their own land and clear off the Northeastern parts of Syria, his role of favoring the ISIS is becoming clearer. Reports have been doing rounds that if Turkey has not stopped them; it has neither done anything to control its movement across its border either. It has been reported on many instances that ISIS have moved across the Syrian Turkish border and gone unchecked.  Strangely, it was Russia which sounded the warning cry against Turkey in the first place. Today, both arch enemies have united forces in Syria and seem to be watching each others’ back against US. Meanwhile, NATO and the EU nations are troubled with the way Erdgoan is becoming an authoritarian dictate. He is flaunting every rule possible and been pushing for a safe zone in Syria to re-home 3 million Syrian refugees. Little is known that the 30 km stretch will give him direct access to Syria’s rich oil reserves. While US had thought it could have got a strong...

Humanitarian Catastrophe Now Hits North Western Syria

It all started as a way to get rid of the Syrian rebel forces. But at the worst receiving end right now, are the thousands of civilians that are running for their lives. Syria has become a mass exodus where UN has reported as many as 100,000 people have fled northwestern Syrian region running to the border. The Russian and Syrian government joint strike is leading to a humanitarian catastrophe, as Maarat al-Numan is being bombed repeatedly. Earlier it was Idlib province from where thousands of Syrians were displaced and moved towards the border into Turkey. The new exodus is creating the same situation and Turkey has made it clear that it has no capacity left to handle such a big exodus of civilians. It is now confirmed that 80,000 Syrians are already on the move towards Turkey. Sadly, this seems to be a political pressure game being played by Moscow to get Ankara to buy its terms, a week before both countries meet over a summit.   While Russia jointed hands with T...
