UAE astronaut completes one month on the International Space Station

  Sultan Al Neyadi, one of the first two astronauts from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has completed one month on the International Space Station (ISS), which involves five space agencies: the United States NASA, Japan's JAXA, Europe's ESA, Russia's Roscosmos, and Canada's CSA. The Emirati experienced astronaut has spent much of his time doing maintenance work and complex science investigations at ISS. He went to the ISS on March 3. The UAE astronaut launched into space with three other Crew-6 members on a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket on March 2.  On March 14, he wrote on Twitter, “No matter where I am in the world, my path always leads me home. And even from Space, the site of our beautiful country takes my breath away every time.” He shared his first photo of the UAE from the orbiting laboratory.  Last month, he spoke with the UAE public during a series of live calls from the ISS.
