Elon Musk's Starlink and Dubai's Elcome set to provide internet to the maritime industry

  Starlink, a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, and Dubai-based marine electronics company Elcome International have joined hands to provide internet services to the maritime sector. Elcome has said that the company will equip its customers with advanced solutions that support the capabilities of Starlink. Elcome's logistics hubs in Dubai, Singapore and Spain would help to fulfil the orders. According to Elcome, the company would connect vessels like merchant ships, oil rigs and luxury yachts to internet speeds that are up to 100 times faster than traditional satellite services. Elcome said in a statement that Starlink would help with the installation process in the maritime industry.
