UAE’s exemplary handling of labour camps hands out corona lessons

The United Arab Emirates is heading in the right direction in terms of curbing the spread of coronavirus pandemic. As per the data complied by worldometers.info, the country has a high rate of recovery with 680 recovered cases so far and it has not reported any new deaths. Also, the Gulf nation, which has been quick in its response action to combat Covid-19, has in total 4,123 corona positive cases. Dr Jacob Cherian, specialist internal medicine, Medcare Medical Centre Marina and medical director for Medcare Medical Centres, pointed out UAE’s early intervention and extensive testing, as the key reasons for its faster recovery rates. Dr Jacob in conversation with the Khaled Times said,"Compared to other countries, the UAE adopted early intervention measures.
