  Tech billionaire Elon Musk attended the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates , on Wednesday. He gave some brief remarks at the Dubai summit. Musk talked about various important topics. He delivered his speech remotely via video call. The 2023 World Government Summit started on Monday in Dubai. Musk’s virtual attendance at the summit made participants happy. Musk reportedly said, "I know this is called the 'World Government Summit,' but I think we should be a little bit concerned about becoming too much of a single world government. I think we need to be a little conscious of being too much of a single civilization because if we are too much of a single civilization, then the whole thing may collapse.” He further said, “If something goes wrong with some part of civilization then the whole thing doesn't just collapse and humanity keeps moving forward."   The   World Government Summit   (WGS) that concluded on Wednesday has once again put the  UAE on the world stage as a visionary nation that looks towards the future and aims to be a force for good for humanity. The three-day event was attended by several heads of state and ministers, 10,000 thought leaders, government officials, and experts from 80 global organizations, all united by the common goal of shaping future governments and improving people’s lives.  One of the highlights of the summit was the call to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) while stressing the importance of regulating it.   Dubai has continued its journey of excellence towards a future that prioritises well-being and safeguarding livelihoods by launching the Dubai Future Readiness Index at the World Government Summit (WGS) 2023. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), launched the index, which aims to evaluate government entities on their readiness to address new opportunities and challenges, future-ready ecosystems, and their ability to adopt new technologies.
