Armenian President Visits UAE: Strengthening Ties Between Nations

  In a significant diplomatic move, the President of Armenia has embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aiming to bolster bilateral relations, expand economic cooperation, and foster cultural exchange between the two nations. The high-level visit marks a new chapter in Armenia-UAE relations, showcasing a mutual commitment to deepening political dialogue and exploring opportunities in trade, technology, energy, tourism, and investment. During his visit, the Armenian President held discussions with top Emirati leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The UAE has demonstrated its commitment to helping the people of Sudan and putting a stop to the fighting in the area by attending the International Humanitarian Conference for Sudan in Paris, France. The UAE highlighted its ongoing efforts to give relief aid and medical support to people affected by the situation by pledging USD 100 million to support humanitarian efforts in Sudan and surrounding countries.

HE Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan underlined the UAE's support for global peace initiatives. To help Sudanese refugees, the UAE has erected a field hospital in Abéché City, Republic of Chad, and given USD 150 million in disaster aid, including food, medicine, and relief materials.
