 The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reinforced its reputation as a global leader in humanitarian aid with the distribution of 30,000 food baskets to Sudanese refugees in Uganda’s Kiryandongo camp. This initiative, benefitting nearly 100,000 displaced individuals, represents the second phase of the UAE’s sustained humanitarian efforts, which commenced in April 2024. Spain and the UAE Talk About Mutual Relations and Regional Stability

Over  the years  we  observed the  good  and  relationship of this  two  Country as  The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Pedro Sanchez, had a recent discussion with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The main topics of discussion were how to advance mutual interests between the UAE and Spain by looking into opportunities for cross-sector cooperation.

Along with discussing issues of shared concern, both presidents dug into regional and global dynamics, with a special emphasis on the Middle East. They acknowledged the dangers to the security and stability of the area and the importance of stopping further escalation. In order to lessen the suffering of its citizens and lessen the worsening humanitarian situation, they underlined how urgently a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is required. 

Throughout the discussion, there was agreement on the necessity of international efforts to move toward a political settlement based on the two-state option in order to guarantee a fair, complete, and long-lasting peace. Underscoring his nation's dedication to the Palestinian cause, the Spanish prime minister reaffirmed Spain's unshakable support for Palestine's full membership in the UN.
