UAE Non-Oil Business Activity Surges to Nine-Month High in December

 The United Arab Emirates' non-oil private sector recorded its fastest expansion in nine months in December 2024, buoyed by strong domestic demand and increased business activity, according to the latest S&P Global Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) report. PMI Highlights Robust Growth The seasonally adjusted UAE PMI climbed to 55.4 in December from 54.2 in November, signaling robust growth well above the 50.0 threshold that separates expansion from contraction. This marked the third consecutive monthly increase, underscoring sustained recovery in the non-oil sector. Key drivers of growth included a notable rise in new business activity. Over  the years  we  observed the  good  and  relationship of this  two  Country as  The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Pedro Sanchez, had a recent discussion with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The main topics of discussion were how to advance mutual interests between the UAE and Spain by looking into opportunities for cross-sector cooperation.

Along with discussing issues of shared concern, both presidents dug into regional and global dynamics, with a special emphasis on the Middle East. They acknowledged the dangers to the security and stability of the area and the importance of stopping further escalation. In order to lessen the suffering of its citizens and lessen the worsening humanitarian situation, they underlined how urgently a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is required. 

Throughout the discussion, there was agreement on the necessity of international efforts to move toward a political settlement based on the two-state option in order to guarantee a fair, complete, and long-lasting peace. Underscoring his nation's dedication to the Palestinian cause, the Spanish prime minister reaffirmed Spain's unshakable support for Palestine's full membership in the UN.
