The president of the UAE and the amir of Qatar talk about enhancing bilateral ties and regional stability.

The President of the United Arab Emirates, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Amir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, had a major phone conversation recently. The main topics of conversation were how to improve the two nations' fraternal connections and how to find ways to make them even stronger.


The leaders discussed current regional and global developments in addition to bilateral issues. Both stressed how critical it is to stop conflicts from spreading farther afield and to lower the level of escalation in the area. The necessity of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories was specifically emphasized by them.
