UN Session on Islamophobia Highlights UAE's Efforts Towards Peace and Harmony

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing regional security and peace while encouraging peaceful coexistence and religious harmony inside its boundaries during a recent session honoring the International Day to combat Islamophobia. The statement emphasized the UAE's efforts to combat prejudice and hostility towards Muslims while highlighting the nation's ideal of respect for all religions.

The UAE's criticism of recent incidences of desecrating the Holy Quran, which were considered to be forms of Islamophobia spreading globally, demonstrated the country's aggressive stance against Islamophobia. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) stressed that accepting Islamophobia as a form of free speech is unacceptable and demanded that such activities be rejected and condemned globally.

Fostering human fraternity, encouraging fruitful conversation between religions and cultures, and opposing hate speech and false information about Islam are all part of the UAE's strategy to combat Islamophobia. In order to put these ideals into reality, the government has passed laws outlawing racial or religious discrimination and guaranteeing the freedom of religion and belief for individuals of all faiths.

The United Arab Emirates's dedication to eradicating Islamophobia is consistent with the global community's endeavors to foster harmony, acceptance, and reciprocal comprehension across different countries and traditions. Over  the years  UAE has demonstrated its commitment to battling Islamophobia and advancing world peace and harmony by actively participating in the UN session.
