The Screen Actors Guild Awards made history this year as the event was streamed globally on Netflix for the first time in its 30-year history. This move is expected to boost viewership and prestige for the awards show, which is typically seen as a significant indicator for the Academy Awards.

The ceremony, attended by Hollywood actors and members of Sag-Aftra, the union representing about 120,000 performers, including A-list stars, took place in Los Angeles.
