Following a 30% increase in visitors throughout 2022, Thailand has seen a further 15% increase in tourists from the UAE in the first quarter of 2023.

The UAE is "vital" for Thailand's efforts to boost its tourism, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which issued the most recent data.

In order to bring its most recent and spectacular travel experiences closer to UAE travellers this year, TAT is announcing a 2023 partnership with dnata Travel, the country's first travel agency.

TAT and dnata Travel want to showcase many facets of Thailand's varied landscapes and attractions during their relationship, with an emphasis on the regions that UAE tourists will find most interesting.

Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand for Dubai and the Middle East, Chaiwat Tamthai, stated: “The UAE is a crucial region for the development of tourism, with a growing number of tourists eager to discover new and unique experiences throughout Thailand. With a team of knowledgeable travel consultants and a wide range of services, dnata Travel is in a great position to assist visitors to the UAE in organising amazing journeys throughout the nation.”

The considerable increase in UAE tourism is attributed to a number of causes, including the country's expanding selection of activities and attractions, according to TAT. There are now more direct flights between the two countries, as well as new routes to places like Krabi and Pattaya, making travel between the two nations easier.

TAT and dnata Travel's primary goals include promoting Thailand's wide range of affordable travel options and expanding accessibility to travel by offering affordable trip packages, flying options, and travel insurance.
