The eastern emirate of Fujairah, whose maximum
temperatures are still primarily in the 30s, is the only exception. Sharjah,Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah are all anticipated to have similar
weather.
The UAE's hottest temperature on Wednesday was 44.1°C at
Al Quaa, Al Ain. In the Al Dhafra district of Abu Dhabi emirate, Bada Dafas
recorded a temperature of 44.9°C the day before, while Al Shawamekh in Abu
Dhabi city registered 43.8°C on Monday.

Raknah, Al Ain. By Wednesday, it had soared to 19.8°C. Despite the daily highs,
the NCM predicted in its May prediction that the average temperature would be
32.3°C.
The NCM's May temperature records range from the lowest of
9°C in Jebel Jais in 2005 to the highest of 50.2°C in 2009.
The NCM stated in its five-day advisory that Thursday
might see periods of partly overcast weather with temperatures as high as 45°C
and as low as 20°C. Winds from the south to the west might gust as high as 35
kph.
By the afternoon on Friday, the east is expected to see
partly cloudy weather. In certain coastal places, it may be humid on Friday
night and Saturday early.
Similar weather was predicted over the weekend, but
according to the NCM, temperatures may drop in certain places on Monday while
winds of up to 40 kph may produce dust clouds.
