The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. Free Nipple

Soon Meta will allow some people to post nude chested photos on their Instagram and Facebookplatforms. Many times, before Facebook, banned nude chested images on its platforms but now the Oversight Board of Meta has decided to bring some changes to this strict law. This law was banning women and trans people to post bare nipple images on social platforms, which is a total violation of human rights and freedom on the base of different sex.

Though women protested against this strict law in front of Facebook’s office in 2008 and several protests were performed by breastfeeding women across the globe. Their saying was that Facebook’s this law is treating women like pornographers which is a total injustice.

Now the Oversight Board advised Meta to change the decision to ban nude chested images of women and trans people. On this board, there are several members from politics, journalism, and academics. This group is like the thinking tank of the Meta which always gives pieces of advice to make decisions. They suggested changing the law banning nipples to make adult nudity and sexual activity a community standard, out of respect for international human rights standards.

The board suggests changes to the rule after acknowledging that 2 trans people had problems with the law. They are not women, but they were not able to post pictures, this was a violation of human rights. The couple claimed that they posted 2 pictures on Instagram in 2021 and 2022 which were deleted by Facebook. The board said that this rule is not in line with community standards and human rights standards. These are fundamental issues that Meta should address and fix.

Now after the recommendation from the board, it is expected that Meta will change its approach toward nudity on its platform by defining clear criteria for posting pictures.

In my opinion, the law that stops women from being women needs to be withdrawn! It's not about nipples, or although nipples are never just women, because, at the same time that breastfeeding women were protesting nipple laws, men were showing nipples or bare chests on posts. This is a subject where humanism should raise its voice because freedom is a human right, no one can take it away in the name of gender.
