  In a step toward deepening international collaboration, the UAE Parliamentary Friendship Committee recently held a pivotal meeting with Waven William, Chairperson of the International Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Seychelles. The agenda: enhancing parliamentary cooperation and forging stronger bilateral relations between the two nations. The dialogue, marked by mutual respect and shared interests, focused on the importance of inter-parliamentary exchange in fostering diplomatic and developmental ties. The two leaders discussed efforts to bolster ties between their nations during the phone call.

They explored ways of strengthening co-operation for the betterment of both countries, state news agency Wam reported.

In September, Sheikh Mohamed sent a congratulatory letter to Mr Lourenco on his re-election as president.

The message was delivered by Sheikh Shakbout bin Nahyan, Minister of State, who took part in the inauguration ceremony held in the capital, Luanda.
