  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. At an effort to decrease teen pregnancies, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that condoms would be made freely available in pharmacies for persons aged 18 to 25.

In western France's Fontaine-le-Comte, a suburb of Poitiers, Macron remarked during a health discussion with young people, "It's a modest revolution for contraception."

In order to prevent young women from stopping using contraception because they cannot afford it, the government expanded a programme aimed at under-18s this year and started providing free birth control to all women under the age of 25.
