The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. The campaign is a direct response to the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with further guidance from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, and under the l

Climate crisis and economic disaster, How we can beat them!

Climate crisis

Climate is facing bad days. Still, no prior actions or changes are being noticed. We must use the wave of protest to power system global change.

The antisocial and ecological crisis rises like a tsunami, ready to hit the earth. I hope you are aware that in 2022 when both the Arctic and the Antarctic were 30°C warmer than average in March. The Yangtze River dried up in China. Europe faced drought. More than 2 million houses were damaged in Pakistan.

Around one billion people in the world sleep hungry due to rising food prices and simply poverty. Supply chains have been disrupted cause of war, pandemic, or geopolitical power!

Prices are rising and wages are falling with signs of inflation. Countries around the world are buried under the burden of debt. All of these are going to get worse in 2023.

The climate, the people, or the planet is not happy!

On a deep note, you can see the bad condition of the climate, cost of living, and debt crisis all are interconnected. These all are affecting the world equally. These all need to be focused on a big platform of the globe.

But at the time I can say, the system is not in the condition to deal with it. We saw every year COP meeting, but no change in the environment -even they are becoming worse.

We saw in the pandemic how systems were running behind money or for a crown!

During COVID-19 if the powers of the world wished, then they were capable to produce medicine for the whole globe just in twelve months. But western pharmaceutical companies find it a better time to focus on money, EU- at the same time opposed WTO and denied removing intellectual property restrictions on vaccines.

Well, my point is a million people died but few also become rich now. The reason behind it was the hunger for power around the globe.

The same sting we find in the international debt system too. The IMF Keeps the bottom line of those wanting very little. It demands to repay Ukraine because they are spending money on war. Who is paying the amount? I can give you an example.- Sri Lanka, a country that is facing terrible food insecurity paid 10s of million in this early December 2022.

Did you get my point?

These is just very few I stated in this blog, there are many other factors that I will continue further. But bitter truth is that the world is facing a bad time, and it will get bitter more because all nations are running behind power instead of harmony.

But as a human being when I saw into the world, on a concluding note I whisper…. “we will win, our planet will win, our motherland will survive!”

We have no option instead of ambitious this time. Hoping that the world’s authorities and powerful nations will come into action soon.
