Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend auctions old photos of Tesla CEO to raise money

Elon Musk

Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend Jennifer Gwynne has put up old pictures of them from their college days for the auction to raise some money for her stepson’s college fees.

Gwynne dated the Tesla founder in 1994 when they were in their early 20s and studying at the University of Pennsylvania. They dated for a year. Gwynne kept their old photographs from their college days. She has now begun auctioning their old photographs and personal items to get some money.

Speaking with a news media portal, Gwynne said their romance was “sweet” but wasn’t “extremely affectionate.” She reportedly said, “We met in the fall of 1994. I was a junior and he was a senior. We were in the same dorm and we worked together.” They broke up when Musk moved to Palo Alto in 1995. Later on, Musk started dating his first wife, Justine Wilson.

According to media reports, Gwynne hadn’t thought of selling the old photographs of her and Musk when they were in a relationship. However, later on, she decided to auction them seeing others making money off their mementoes from the billionaire. She told The Independent, “I have had these pictures and the notes for a long, long time.”

Elon Musk is always in the limelight for various reasons. Recently, Musk is fighting a legal battle with the social media company Twitter over his $44 billion deal.

Musk made a hostile bid to take over Twitter for $44 billion. However, he backed away from the deal and blamed Twitter for breaching the agreement by misrepresenting the number of fake accounts on the micro-blogging site. Later on, the legal battle between Twitter and Musk started.

Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery ordered a five-day trial beginning October 17 to determine whether Tesla CEO can complete his $44 billion deal.
