This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. UAE

In 2020, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) established full diplomatic relations with Israel, making it the third Arab nation to establish formal relations with Israel and the first new country to do so in 28 years by signing the Abraham Accords. Former US President Donald Trump welcomed breakthroughs at that time. The two countries also thanked Trump for advancing their positions in Washington. At that time, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement condemned the deal between Israel and the UAE.

Over the years, the UAE also participated in peacekeeping operations in the region, including Palestine and Israel.

Robert B. Charles talks about strategic realities

Prolific Solutions wrote an article highlighting the facts about the UAE’s relationship with other Middle East countries. Robert B. Charles, an American lawyer and Republican political figure, talked about the strategic relationships between UAE and other Arab countries. B. Charles served as Assistant Secretary of State in the U.S. Department of State's Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs from 2003 to 2005 under former Secretary of State Colin Powell. He also wrote the book “Narcotics and Terrorism” in 2003.

B. Charles reportedly said in his article, “We do not have a fresh generation – strong and dynamic political leaders – who see that the Middle East is worth their full attention.” According to him, the relationship between the UAE and US is important. However, there are few disagreements between both countries. For example, the UAE remains opposed to the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) or the Iran nuclear deal. However, the current US President Joe Biden wants to revive the deal. But the relationship between these two countries can be vital for the Middle East region. These two countries agree on important topics. For example, establishing peace in the world. The UAE has been a vital US partner for political stability and economic progress in the Middle East in recent years. These two countries often work together to promote peace and security across the world. For example, in July this year, US President Joe Biden and UAE’s President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met during an event in Saudi Arabia. They discussed a range of regional and global challenges. They agreed to work together to establish peace in the region.

It is also important to note that the UAE has always helped other Middle East countries during difficult times. The UAE also helped Afghanistan after the destructive earthquake injured many people in the country in June. In 2020, the UAE sent medical supplies to Yemen, Ghana, and other countries. Ethiopia and Eritrea also signed the historic peace accord in 2018 under the guidance of the UAE.

In his article, B. Charles also talked about the killing of Ayman Al Zawahiri. He said that keeping terrorism at bay is important for all countries. He also said that keeping the region free from drug trafficking is also important. He believed that these points shaped the Middle East region over the years.
