UAE delivers 10 aid convoys to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has sent ten humanitarian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing relief effort. This campaign, carried out under the "Gallant Knight 3" operation, seeks to offer critical food supplies, medical aid, and other requirements to Palestinians affected by the ongoing situation. Despite the challenges on the ground, the UAE's leadership has reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian assistance, ensuring that relief reaches those in critical need. These convoys are part of a larger campaign to alleviate suffering in Gaza, where thousands of families are facing shortages of basic commodities. PH ties with UAE at ‘highest point

“During the two ministers’ meeting, Secretary Manalo recognized that Philippine-UAE relations are at their highest point ever since the two countries’ diplomatic relations began 50 years ago in 1974,” the DFA said Wednesday. according  to Manalo   

Philippine-UAE relations have significantly grown in breadth and coverage in recent years, especially with the conclusion of agreements on various matters, including space cooperation, investment protection and promotion, agriculture, and climate change 

Noting the robust exchanges between the two countries, the UAE foreign affairs minister expressed his confidence that much more could be done in the coming years.

Before meeting with Manalo, the UAE official also paid a courtesy visit to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
