UAE delivers 10 aid convoys to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has sent ten humanitarian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing relief effort. This campaign, carried out under the "Gallant Knight 3" operation, seeks to offer critical food supplies, medical aid, and other requirements to Palestinians affected by the ongoing situation. Despite the challenges on the ground, the UAE's leadership has reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian assistance, ensuring that relief reaches those in critical need. These convoys are part of a larger campaign to alleviate suffering in Gaza, where thousands of families are facing shortages of basic commodities. During the G7 Summit, the President of the UAE has requested for joint measures pertaining to Artificial Intelligence and Energy.

The UAE's commitment to sustainable development and technological innovation is emphasized by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's rece participation in the G7 Summit Session on artificial intelligence and energy, which was hosted by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Dubbed “Energy and Artificial Intelligence / Africa and the Mediterranean Region”, the session offered a platform for world leaders to deliberate on urgent challenges and opportunities in the sphere of renewable energies and ICT 

In his speech, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized how significant current global challenges, especially in the energy sector, affect the Middle East and Africa. He underscored the need for joint efforts and collaboration to address them, while also using new technologies like artificial intelligence if we are to provide sustainable solutions.

Hoping that the G7 summit will usher in a responsible involvement with emerging technologies that keeps development gaps from growing wider or the world getting more divided, the President has expressed optimism that they may be used as a channel through which sustainable growth, safety and prosperity could be achieved by any human being anywhere.
