  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. The discussions focused on expanding economic cooperation between the two countries, with a particular emphasis on priority areas such as energy, infrastructure, and tourism. Both leaders indicated a desire to strengthen cooperation through a comprehensive economic relationship.

Sheikh Khaled acknowledged the UAE-Albanian relationship's strong trajectory since the signing of the Economic Cooperation Agreement in 2020. This deal created the groundwork for stronger economic and trade connections, which will benefit both countries.  

The meetings between Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed and Prime Minister Edi Rama demonstrate the UAE's commitment to expanding global alliances and boosting cooperation in important areas. These talks aim to pave the path for mutually beneficial projects that will benefit both countries and the area as a whole.
