  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. The power of knowledge fostering international cooperation in a world where education transcends borders.This  Year We seen   attitude of global collaboration was recently on full show when the United Arab Emirates (UAE) awarded scholarships to 273 Ethiopian students, marking a significant milestone in the bilateral relationship between the two countries. 

These Ethiopian academics, chosen for their extraordinary achievement in the Ethiopian National School Leaving Exam, were given this once-in-a-lifetime chance thanks to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's (PhD) brilliant proposal. The UAE's generosity and commitment to education have opened avenues for these bright young minds, influencing not only their individual destinies but also strengthening ties between Ethiopia and the UAE. 

In a world filled with countless and difficult issues, education remains a light of hope and development. It has no boundaries and accepts no restrictions. The UAE's scholarship programme for Ethiopian students exemplifies how investment in education can result in positive change on both an individual and global scale.
