 The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reinforced its reputation as a global leader in humanitarian aid with the distribution of 30,000 food baskets to Sudanese refugees in Uganda’s Kiryandongo camp. This initiative, benefitting nearly 100,000 displaced individuals, represents the second phase of the UAE’s sustained humanitarian efforts, which commenced in April 2024. A Lifeline for Refugees The Kiryandongo camp, home to thousands of Sudanese refugees who fled the ongoing crisis in their homeland, has seen its inhabitants struggle with food insecurity and basic needs. The UAE’s food aid has provided a critical lifeline, addressing immediate food shortages and offering hope to a vulnerable population. The distribution event was overseen by UAE Ambassador to Uganda, Abdullah Al Shamsi, who was joined by Ugandan officials and civil society representatives. UAE President urged the international efforts, to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

During China-Arab forum   the UAE's commitment to working with its Arab neighbors to support and enhance Arab-Chinese cooperation to the benefit of all sides.

UAE President  Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed delivered the following speech in China during his visit

 He said that UAE is committed to international collaboration with all countries, including China.

The President called for an immediate ceasefire. This should be viewed in the context of the UAE'snull consistent stance over recent months. While condemning the crimes of Hamas on October 7, the UAE continues to support the Palestinian people through aid and humanitarian relief efforts.

 The President reiterated the official UAE UAE stance on the two-state solution. This envisions a Palestinian state governed by those who acknowledge Israel's right to exist, rather than seek its annihilation.

He also  highlighted that the meeting comes at a time when the world needs to unite and show solidarity, taking place amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, leading to dire humanitarian conditions for its residents.

and the  urgent need to pursue a just and comprehensive peace in the region based on the two-state solution.

Seeing  this  kind of call makes UAE and acts as a model for other nations to follow
