UAE delivers 10 aid convoys to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has sent ten humanitarian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing relief effort. This campaign, carried out under the "Gallant Knight 3" operation, seeks to offer critical food supplies, medical aid, and other requirements to Palestinians affected by the ongoing situation. Despite the challenges on the ground, the UAE's leadership has reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian assistance, ensuring that relief reaches those in critical need. These convoys are part of a larger campaign to alleviate suffering in Gaza, where thousands of families are facing shortages of basic commodities. UAE relief teams, working in collaboration with international humanitarian groups, have been critical in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of aid. ERC launched a new phase of its development projects for those affected by the earthquake in Syria's Latakia Governorate.  

UAE Ambassador to Syria; Amer Ismail Hilal, Governor of Latakia; and several Syrian officials. These projects included an irrigation project in the village of Al-Musheirfeh, which falls under the Wadi Al-Qalaa municipality in Jableh. The project irrigates 660 dunums of agricultural land and provides a sustainable water supply, benefiting over 3,500 people working in agriculture. The projects also include solar-powered water tanks and livestock breeding projects. 

“The projects we are inaugurating today represent a new phase and a transitional shift in the ERC's efforts to support the Syrian people. They embody the ERC's vision to boost sustainability and empower affected families by providing them with means of production that compensate them for what they lost during the disaster, help them meet their basic needs, and reach self-sufficiency,” he explained.
