  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. In a historic visit, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Ahmedabad, India, to reaffirm the two countries' long-standing ties. The visit will include strategic meetings and participation in the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

The agenda emphasizes the UAE's commitment to strengthening economic and diplomatic ties with India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greets the distinguished visitor, and the visit is expected to strengthen the comprehensive relationship that includes commerce, investment, and cultural interaction.   

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit offers a dynamic forum for world leaders, including Timor Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta, to engage in collaborative discussions about global economic growth and development. Prime Minister Modi's longstanding engagement with the summit underlines its critical role in promoting Gujarat's growth and creating opportunity for its people.

The signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) lays the framework for increased collaboration in critical areas, which is an important component of the visit. These agreements set the door for collaborative efforts in areas such as economic development, renewable energy, and education.
