The UAE's commitment to space exploration grows significantly as it begins development of a lunar-orbiting station in conjunction with NASA. The emphasis of this collaborative effort is the Lunar Gateway station, which will be an important component of future Moon expeditions, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre will provide a critical airlock to aid in lunar exploration.
