  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. Despite Yemen's hardships, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has constantly stepped out as a beacon of light, offering significant aid and support to meet the country's pressing needs. From 2015 to 2021, the UAE contributed over AED23 billion to Yemen's well-being and development, demonstrating its consistent commitment.

At the heart of the UAE's contribution is a commitment to rehabilitation efforts and the resuscitation of critical infrastructure. Schools, health centers, and other critical institutions have been the focus of the UAE's efforts, demonstrating the country's stance that sustainable development is the key to long-term stability.  

In 2021, the UAE demonstrated its unwavering support by allocating US$230 million to international projects addressing Yemen's medical, nutritional, and food security concerns. This generous gift is intended to aid six million Yemenis, including one million children, in response to identified food security challenges in specific areas of the country.

The UAE's sustained support for Yemen demonstrates a genuine desire to alleviate Yemeni suffering while also supporting long-term stability. Through comprehensive aid programs, strategic alliances, and a proactive reaction to crises, the UAE remains a beacon of hope for Yemen, reflecting the spirit of compassion and solidarity on a global scale.
