UAE’s Lifeline to Lebanon: 18th Aid Plane Delivers Vital Medical Supplies Amidst Crisis

  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. UAE: Man fined Dh15,000 for hitting another driver's car

 

A driver in Al Ain has been ordered to pay Dh15,000 to a young man after the latter insulted him with hand signals and damaged his car on purpose while it was on the main route.

According to official court records, the Arabman sued the driver and demanded that he compensate him for the physical and emotional harm that the incident caused him.

The plaintiff emphasised that the defendant intentionally swerved and struck his car while he was travelling in Al Ain. The driver, according to the victim, allegedly insulted him with hand motions meant to scare and discredit him.

The driver was previously found guilty of threatening the plaintiff's life when he hit his automobile by the Al Ain criminal court. Furthermore found guilty of insulting the plaintiff as the male.

Afterwards, seeking recompense, the man sued him in civil court. The defendant was ordered to compensate the plaintiff Dh15,000 for the tangible losses he incurred as a result of the defendant's collision with his vehicle by the Al Ain civil court of first instance after hearing from both parties.

All additional accusations made against the defendant were rejected by the court. Additionally, the guy was instructed to cover the plaintiff's legal costs.
