Two Powerful Earthquakes Strike Turkey and Syria, Leaving Thousands Dead and Displaced

The volunteer effort has been tireless, with teams working around the clock to pack the donations and prepare them for shipment to Turkey.

The UAE has also pledged to support the relief effort, with seven aid flights scheduled to arrive in the affected regions. President Sheikh Mohamed has ordered $50 million in aid to be sent to support those in need in both Turkey and Syria, while Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has directed an additional $13.6 million in humanitarian aid through the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
