Public administration cooperation to be developed between Kazakhstan and UAE

According to Trend, which cited the press office of the Kazakh Prime Minister, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their collaboration in the field of public administration.

The document was signed by Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, and Galymzhan Koyshybayev, Chief of Staff of the Government of Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit held in the UAE.

Together with officials from the Dubai Chamber of Trade & Industry, Koyshybayev also spoke with local Ayana Holding and Metito personnel.

The focus of the discussions was expanding financial and industrial collaboration between Kazakhstan, the UAE, and businesses from both countries.

Kazakhstan and the UAE recently increased their collaboration significantly. The visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the United Arab Emirates in mid-January was a key factor in the rapprochement. As a result of the visit, Kazakhstan and the UAE inked a number of cooperation documents, including ones on expanding their relationship in energy and transportation.
