  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. UAE President meets with Sultan of Oman

UAE President has met with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, at Al Alam Palace in the Omani capital, Muscat.

During the meeting on the first day of the UAE President’s state visit to the Sultanate of Oman, the two leaders spoke of the historical bonds between the two nations and discussed ways to strengthen these relations further.

His Majesty the Sultan welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed thanked His Majesty for the warm welcome extended to him and the UAE delegation and expressed his best wishes to the Sultan and the people of Oman.

His Highness and His Majesty discussed opportunities for building upon the growing economic ties between the UAE and Oman and areas where the two nations can increase collaboration, including the investment, financial, industrial and cultural sectors.

Their talks centred around the two leaders’ shared vision for a secure and stable region that promotes sustainable development and supports a thriving economy where people can realise their full potential.

After the official talks, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq held a one-on-one session.
