The UAE extends a helping hand to Gaza children

I admire how the UAE's response reflects of compassion and solidarity, underlining the country's commitment to provide aid and support to populations experiencing hardship. 

The decision, issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, demonstrates the country's commitment to alleviate suffering, particularly among youngsters caught in the crossfire of a lengthy conflict. The campaign provides hope and compassionate treatment to people in most need. 

This humanitarian effort is an extension of the UAE's ongoing efforts to provide relief to the Palestinian people, highlighting the grave humanitarian situations they suffer, particularly among the young and vulnerable. In times of adversity, the UAE serves as a beacon of hope, demonstrating its commitment to assisting people in need.

The discussions between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric emphasise the need of facilitating secure and unhindered assistance distribution.
