  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. For the second edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC), the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) will be transformed into the epicenter of global media discourse. The event, which takes place from November 14 to 16, has already surpassed last year's attendance, with over 13,500 attendees, 5,500 delegates, 170 prominent speakers, and nearly 200 exhibiting firms.   

Yeterday  Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, underlined the importance of the media in developing international collaboration and changing attitudes in his opening statement. His plea for ethical behavior and the quest of truth struck a profound chord, reminding the media of its responsibilities.
