Hamdan bin Mohammed launches "Erth Dubai"

Dubai has really taken a bold step in keeping its rich heritage alive with "Erth Dubai," a people-driven initiative championed by Hamdan bin Mohammed. This big project aims to collect and document personal stories, experiences, and cultural heritage about the emirate, ensuring it is kept alive for future generations. Erth Dubai, therefore, will be an archival repository of the changing essence of the city, narrating diverse stories that have woven the contextual mosaic in the fabric of its existence.

At the heart of Erth Dubai lies the belief that every person has a story to be told-one that adds up to contribute to the grander legacy of the city. This will give history to the people, away from recording, but having it spelt out in the voices of the people, capturing moments of resilience, growth, and transformation of Dubai. It also aligns with the emirate's commitment to honoring its past while embracing the future, in which cultural heritage remains an integral part of its progress.

Hamdan bin Mohammed has called on all Dubai residents and citizens to join in this movement and share their personal histories. When the people of Dubai come together, they will create an archive that is an epitome of the city-the city that continues to inspire and evolve. It is not a documentation effort, but rather a collective effort in the celebration and preservation of the spirit of a dynamic, ever-growing metropolis known as Erth Dubai.
