  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. In close collaboration with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), UAE humanitarian organizations are playing a pivotal role in delivering life-saving aid to Lebanon’s vulnerable communities. The EU is providing a way to deliver aid while ensuring the security of both aid workers and those in need by putting out these measures. This strategy responds to the urgent demand for humanitarian aid and reduces any disruptions brought on by security worries.

The EU's position serves as an illustration of global cooperation and solidarity. To end the suffering in Gaza, the entire world must come together. All relevant parties must support and put into action the humanitarian corridors and pauses because they are a lifeline for a population in need.
