People rush to UAE even with a high ticket fair

Coronavirus pandemic had imposed heavy travel restrictions all around the world and when the restrictions were finally starting to loosen up, people were most excited to visit the United Arab Emirates.

But did you know that the fair from Indian cities to Emirati nations is one of the most expensive to date? The prices are almost double the usual but people are still choosing their way to the UAE. A flight from Kolkata to Dubai is costing 20,000-30,000 to 55,000, which is far more than it usually takes.

The prices have especially gone up after the UAE had allowed residents to return to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah among other cities. But the allowance has only come for people who have residency permits and vaccination certification claiming that they have received both the vaccine doses.

On April 22, the UAE had imposed a ban on flights from India owing to the increase in the number of covid cases in India. That was the peak of the pandemic in the country which saw terrible outrage during the virus spread. There was a lot of demand for the UAE flight and the Emirates launched flights on August 8 and 11 which are also getting booked very fast.

As for Indian airline, Indigo will be operating FlyDubai which is based out of LCC. The flight is scheduled for August 13. With the beginning of international travel, the Kolkata airport will be witnessing the debut of rapid PCR test. Fliers aiming for Dubai will need to show the test results issued within 48 hours of the sample collection.

There are a lot of people seeking to go to the UAE from India considering a huge population of Indians doing their business in the Arab nation. Resumption of flights is a huge development especially during the ongoing pandemic as the cases seem to be going down with a rapid vaccination drive in place in both the countries.
