UAE Prime Minister received trial vaccine for Covid-19 on Tuesday

A lot of governments officials and authorities have been posting about them receiving covid-19 trial vaccine on their social media handles and now the United Arab Emirates Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The prime minister who is also the vice president of the
country posted a picture of him getting a shot on Twitter and captioned the
post saying, “We ask God to protect and heal everyone.” He can be seen
receiving the vaccine in shoulder.
“We appreciate the efforts of the teams that worked hard
to make our country one of the first to receive the vaccine for this virus. The
future is always better and more beautiful in the United Arab Emirates,” Sheikh
Mohammed said.
The
UAE has been granted approval by the health authorities to use Covid 19 vaccine
for emergencies and hence frontline heroes, health officials and ministers have
been getting shots of the vaccine, which is the third phase of its trial.
It was only last month when the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation revived the vaccine and soon after this, another minister Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi , Minister of Cabinet Affairs received it on October 31.
The leaders stepping up and taking a vaccine shot themselves has generated trust among people for the vaccine and now due to this people will no more shy away from receiving the treatment or the shot in near future.
According to the authorities, the vaccine, which was developed by China’s Sinopharm, is in the final stage of trial and till now, has been found to be safe and effective for use.
