UAE and Iraqi Kurdistan Strengthen Cooperation During High-Level Meeting

 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed His Excellency Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, for a meeting at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi.



The discussions underscored the enduring bond between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq, with a special focus on the Kurdistan Region. Both leaders explored opportunities to deepen bilateral relations and expand collaboration in areas that drive progress, development, and prosperity for their respective nations.

Key topics included strengthening economic and cultural ties and supporting initiatives that benefit the citizens of both countries. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on pressing regional and international issues of shared interest, reaffirming the commitment of both parties to fostering stability and growth across the region.

This meeting highlights the UAE's proactive diplomatic approach in fostering meaningful partnerships that contribute to sustainable development and shared prosperity.
