The Disney Resort in Shanghai will reopen tomorrow after being closed for more than three weeks owing to the nation's Covid-19 control programme.
The theme park operator announced the resort's hours of operation on its WeChat account. Visitors can check into the Pixar-themed Toy Story Hotel starting at 3 p.m. On October 31st, it shut down due to Covid-19 breakouts.
The theme park will keep its daily capacity limits in place while strengthening its health and safety protocols. It's possible that certain restaurants, retail establishments, live entertainment venues, and attractions will close or operate with fewer guests.
When entering Disneyland, visitors must present results of negative nucleic acid tests taken within the previous 48 hours; however, those who intend to visit other nearby locations have up to 72 hours to do so.
As of November 17, the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, the Wishing Star Park recreation area, and the commercial Disneytown district of the resort were all reopened.
The resort has two themed hotels, an entertainment area, recreational amenities, a lake, parking lots, and transit hubs nearby, in addition to Shanghai Disneyland and other attractions. Two further theme parks will be built at the resort throughout the course of subsequent phases.
A longer vacation in Shanghai, or even to other cities in China or Asia, can be started with a visit to Shanghai Disneyland, which is a fantastic introduction to an international Disney resort.
The Shanghai Disneyland park, like its other counterparts in the Disneyland global franchise, attracted about 5.5 million visitors in 2020, making it a popular tourist destination in China.
Roaring Mountain, the focal point of the region known as
Adventure Isle, which is also unique to China, is Shanghai's entry. This land
is located where Tomorrowland usually is—to the right as you enter—and has a
more jungle-like feel than Adventureland in the other parks.
