Armenian President Visits UAE: Strengthening Ties Between Nations

  In a significant diplomatic move, the President of Armenia has embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aiming to bolster bilateral relations, expand economic cooperation, and foster cultural exchange between the two nations. The high-level visit marks a new chapter in Armenia-UAE relations, showcasing a mutual commitment to deepening political dialogue and exploring opportunities in trade, technology, energy, tourism, and investment. During his visit, the Armenian President held discussions with top Emirati leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. Heads of WhatsApp India and Meta India Public Policy resign

Meta's country lead for public policy Rajiv Aggarwal also left his position today, the social media giant announced, two weeks after MetaIndia Head Ajit Mohan left his position to accept another position at rival Snap. Abhijit Bose, the head of WhatsApp India, also announced his resignation in a statement released by Meta.

The statement wished Rajiv Aggarwal the best of luck in his future endeavours and noted that he had made the decision to leave his position at Meta to pursue another opportunity.

Abhijit Bose was the first Head of WhatsApp in India, and Will Cathcart, the company's CEO, thanked him for his "tremendous contributions."

"His spirit of entrepreneurship aided our group in providing innovative services that have assisted millions of individuals and organisations. WhatsApp has so much more to offer India, and we're eager to keep advancing India's digital transformation "said Mr. Cathcart.

Shivnath Thukral has been appointed as Director of Public Policy for Meta in India across all of the tech giant's platforms, the company also revealed.

Additionally, Mr. Bose made his resignation known on LinkedIn, expressing his "really excitement" for his upcoming position. I intend to return to the business world after a brief break, he said.
