US reports claim 70% of Chinese firms with military ties have global indices

  A latest report from the United States revealed that nearly 70 percent of the Chinese companies with ties of Chinese military have affiliates whose securities are supposedly included in major stock indices. The report further claims that these companies are indirectly using the money from the US investors in production of civilian and military. Just earlier this month, the state department said, “The Chinese Communist Party's threat to American national security extends into our financial markets and impacts American investors.” A report in the South China Morning Post quited the State Department report and confirmed that during the first quarter of this year out of 31 firms with Chinese military ties had at least 68 distinct affiliated companies and the shares of these countries were also included on major benchmarks. The United Arab Emirates has been named to have the best telecom sector quality and evolution in the region while coming second globally for the second consecutive year. UAE tops the region in handling coronavirus

  The United Arab Emirates has been successfully tackling coronavirus and now to solidify its stance, the nation has also been named as the number one nation in tackling coronavirus in the region. According to a report by the global ranking, the country stood at the 14th rank in the world among countries who have dealt with coronavirus most efficiently. The research was done as a part of the Global Soft Power Index which included 75,000 respondents from the general public and 750 special audience. Power Index conducts the most comprehensive research study on perceptions of nation brands and this particular research included 105 countries worldwide. The UAE also ranked at the top all throughout the Middle East with a net score of +33 percent, which shows that the country was way ahead in handling the coronavirus better than its neighbours. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed meet Egypt President to discuss bilateral ties

  The crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed met with the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday to discuss relations between the two countries and ways to develop cooperation.   Sheikh Zayed, who is also the deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, met El Sisi in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. They discussed ways to further enhance the ways to serve the interests of each other.   The crown prince tweeted about the meeting saying that it was a pleasure meeting the Egyptian president. UAE, Russia advance cooperation in trade

  On Monday, the United Arab Emirates and Russia extended their cooperation for trade as the UAE delegation visited Moscow where the two sides discussed prospects of further expanding cooperation in various sectors.   Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Forign Affairs and International Cooperation met Denis Valentinovch Manturov, Russian Minister of Trade and Industry and discussed how to take talks further in science, artificial intelligence, healthcare, food security, technology and aviation.   The two officials met for a business dinner in Moscow as they focused on the determination of investment opportunities between the two countries in all fronts and gave special stress on trade and economy.   The fight against coronavirus and the efforts taken to counter the virus attack was also one of the major areas discussed by the two delegations. First ever living donor kidney transplant in the UAE

  In its attempts to excel in the healthcare sector the United Arab Emirates has left no stone unturned in fulfilling the requirements of the citizens and the latest one has been added by the team of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine in Dubai as it has conducted its first living donor kidney transplant.   The operation was deemed successful on December 6. It was carried out by coordination of Mediclinic City Hospital along with Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital.   The first ever living kidney transplant was carried under the programme of MBRU Organ Transplant Programme.
