A Significant Achievement in Environmental Awareness in UAE

The 22nd version of the "Clean UAE" initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Climate Change and ecology, has irreversibly changed the nation's ecology. In keeping with the country's commitment to environmental sustainability, this vast project, encompassing all seven Emirates, is being undertaken in conjunction with the 'Year of Sustainability' and the conclusion of COP28.

In collaboration with significant institutions like Dubai Municipality, Saih Al Salam Protected Area Management, and Dubai Economy and Tourism, the campaign was held at four Saih Al Salam locations. This deliberate collaboration shows how important cooperation is to achieving shared environmental goals.

The campaign's significance was emphasized at its opening ceremony, which was attended by representatives from the public and business sectors as well as members of the Emirates Environmental Group's (EEG) Executive Committee. EEG synchronizes its activities with pertinent Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations as a recognized entity under the UNEP. Many Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are aligned with the 'Clean UAE' campaign, including Partnerships for Goals, Life on Land, Climate Action, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Responsible Consumption and Production.

Truly the 'Clean UAE' campaign demonstrates the United Arab Emirates' commitment to sustainability and acts as a model for global initiatives aiming at attaining a cleaner and more ecologically friendly future.
