US targets other Arab countries after playing the mediator between UAE and Israel

After acting as the mediator  in the matters of Israel and the United Arab Emirates, the United States is now looking to be the peace talker for Israel with other Arab nations as well.

White House Advisor, Jared Kushnor, accompanied the Israeli delegation to the UAE capital to discuss matters regarding the financial investments by both the countries. Both the nations, who have recently opened its diplomatic borders for each other, have decided to set up a joint committee that will be overseeing financial services. Kushnor accompanies the delegation in its first flight to the gulf supreme on Monday and now plans to be the talker with other Arab states.

Egypt and Jordan were the other two countries who had let Israel exchange embassies with the recent addition of UAE in August. All the other Arab countries were adamant on  their stand of first Israel leaving the territory of Palestinine. The son- in-law of Donald Trump further flew to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and soon expected to visit Qatar.

Apart from these countries, no other country from the middle east has announced its plans on Israel. One major step towards improving relations with Israel was when Saudi Arabia allowed the charter flight, carrying Kushnor and Israeli delegation to fly from its air space. Even the crown prince, Mohamed bin Salman and Kushnor discussed Palestinine and Israel normalising the situation and starting to negotiate the interests for lasting peace in the region. Also what is being seen as a positive step towards the process was King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praising UAE’s efforts towards safeguarding the interests and priorities of the countries of the Arab world.

On Monday thi week, Israel, UAE and the US released a joint statement for the Palestinians saying that they should re-engage with Israeli population to maintain the peace in the region. One of the major reasons why UAE decided to normalise the ties was Israel promising to halt its plans to annex Palestine but the people from the region have not come out in support of the Emirati nation.

Even though no official statements were released after the talks, Kushnor suggested that other nations may follow quickly and soon open ties with Israel.
