PMI Highlights Robust Growth The seasonally adjusted UAE PMI climbed to 55.4 in December from 54.2 in November, signaling robust growth well above the 50.0 threshold that separates expansion from contraction. Trump Mocks Iranian Failed Attacks On American Facilities in Iraq

Making a mockery of the recent attack on the US air base in Iraq, Iran seem to be playing on the outside of the fence and not serious into entering a war zone after all.

Iran launched 16 ballistic missiles, including 11 that landed at al-Asad air base and one in Irbil in Iraq. But not one casualty was reported.  The attack came from inside Iran itself.
Addressing the nation from the White House, Mr. Donald Trump felt he could make an assertion that Iran is ‘standing down’ after Washington eliminated one of their key military personnel, disrupting the order of things for Iran. Despite so many missiles fired, no casualty looks like a display of fire, with no smoke.

Iran was responding in grief over their General Qassem Soleimani’s assassination that has let off a sigh a relief amongst a lot of world leaders. Soleimani was termed as a notorious monster that had worked as a binding force to align proxy groups to work in favour of Iran, at will.

Trump is now threatening to slap more economic sanctions on Iran. However, there is no indication on any further military action. Trump is also saying that Washington’s strategic priorities have changed a lot making America less dependent on Middle Eastern oil. Trump is now pushing NATO nations to follow suit, in an attempt to isolate Iran’s chances of economic trade with anyone at all.

In Trump’s words, the whole world should side with him and withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. He has further said America is willing to make peace with whoever wants peace.

Iran has called the attack on the US facilities in Iraq as a ‘slap on the face’ and the worst is yet to come. Back home, the House speaker isnt happy with Trump’s overzealous outburst in the media. Nancy Pelosi has said that the House Rule Committee has had to establish parameters for a vote on the war powers resolution, which would limit Trump’s military actions against Iran. The idea is to tie Trump’s hand that might instigate Iran into a war like situation.
