Armenian President Visits UAE: Strengthening Ties Between Nations

  In a significant diplomatic move, the President of Armenia has embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aiming to bolster bilateral relations, expand economic cooperation, and foster cultural exchange between the two nations. The high-level visit marks a new chapter in Armenia-UAE relations, showcasing a mutual commitment to deepening political dialogue and exploring opportunities in trade, technology, energy, tourism, and investment. During his visit, the Armenian President held discussions with top Emirati leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. Pompeo: US received 20 thousand reports of violations of Tehran against protesters


US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Tuesday that the United States received about 20 thousand messages proving the suppression of demonstrations and other human rights violations by the Iranian authorities.

"Last week, I asked the courageous Iranian people to send us evidence of the regime’s violent actions during the protests in Iran. At the moment, we have received about 20 thousand messages. The US has already taken measures against the Minister of Disinformation of Iran. Ahead of the new sanctions," Pompeo wrote on  your Twitter page.

The U.S. Treasury Department announced on November 22 that it included Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Mohammad Jawad Azari Jahromi, on its sanctions list, accusing it of restricting Iranian citizens from accessing the Internet.

On November 15, a government order to triple gasoline prices came into force in Iran.  After this decision, protests were held in several cities of Iran, and clashes with the police occurred.  On November 16, Iranian authorities turned off the Internet in the country, leaving access only to some online services.  

On November 23, Tehran restored access to the Internet through stationary routers, but restrictions on mobile Internet remain in the capital.  A number of world politicians criticized Tehran’s actions against the protesters.
