  A record number of 60,310 Muslims gathered at the SheikhZayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the 27th night of the holy month of Ramadan to observe Laylat Al Qadr, the special night in Islam when Muslims believe the holy Quran was first sent down from heaven to earth. According to the WAM news agency, 60,310 Muslims are the largest number of worshippers hosted by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque since its grand opening on 20 December 2007. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in the UAE . It is located in Al Rawdah, Abu Dhabi. It is an important place of worship for daily prayers.
