UAE’s Lifeline to Lebanon: 18th Aid Plane Delivers Vital Medical Supplies Amidst Crisis

  The United Arab Emirates has dispatched its 18th aid aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of essential medical supplies to Lebanon as part of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. This ongoing initiative, launched in early October, aims to provide critical food, medical, and shelter supplies to the Lebanese population, who continue to face severe hardships due to ongoing conflict. The UAE Launches Online Hajj Permit On Al Hosn App

Al Hosn National Health System has launched an online permit service on the Al Hosn App for people who will perform Hajj this year. The initiative is launched in cooperation with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) to facilitate Hajj procedures and save pilgrims’ time.

The system, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), stressed that the online Hajj permit service will be the nation's achievement. Under this initiative, all the mandatory vaccinations for pilgrims have been made available at health centres in collaboration with other national health authorities.

If a person wants to perform Hajj this year, they are required to obtain an electronic Hajj permit before leaving the country. A person has to follow four mandatory steps and the permit will be issued automatically on the Al-Hosn application. The main aim of the ministry is to make Hajj procedures in line with health protocols.

What are the mandatory steps?

       A negative PCR test no later than (72 hours) before the date of travel

       Certificates of obtaining the "meningitis" vaccine (compulsory),

       "Seasonal influenza and pneumococcal" vaccines (optional)

       Attaching a report on the medical condition of the person

       Attaching a travel permit for Hajj.
