UAE Non-Oil Business Activity Surges to Nine-Month High in December

 The United Arab Emirates' non-oil private sector recorded its fastest expansion in nine months in December 2024, buoyed by strong domestic demand and increased business activity, according to the latest S&P Global Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) report. PMI Highlights Robust Growth The seasonally adjusted UAE PMI climbed to 55.4 in December from 54.2 in November, signaling robust growth well above the 50.0 threshold that separates expansion from contraction. This marked the third consecutive monthly increase, underscoring sustained recovery in the non-oil sector. Key drivers of growth included a notable rise in new business activity. The new orders subindex rose sharply to 59.3 in December from 58.0 in the previous month, reflecting strong domestic demand. Corona cases decreased to less than 1% in Abu Dhabi


Abu Dhabi city has been confirmed to contain the coronavirus spread as the number of positive COVID-19 cases has been decreased to 1%.

According to a report in the UAE voice, Musaffah Survey Campaign is the reason for such fast action and revival of the city and the Abu Dhabi office states that this campaign led by the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi ensured the the healthcare arrival to all the social segments and providing support to nearly every UAE residents including the provision of free medical examination for more than 570,000 resident workers, and surveying about 2730 buildings.

There was na official announcement from the end of the UAE ministry of Health and Prevention and the UAE National crisis disaster management cooperation that national survey campaign, Musaffah Survey Campaign’ have achieved this feat, that is a remarkable decline in the number of coronavirus cases, to reach less than 1% in the Abu Dhabi city of UAE and the campaign looks forward for the the same percentage in Al Ain and Al Dhafra within the 14 days Coming.

The UAE also reports that the Department of health and the concerned authorities will keep on working hard to arrange for the preventive measures of the coronavirus and provide regular checks for all segments of the society.

There was a comprehensive survey and screening campaign called Musaffah Survey Campaign in Musaffah that lasted for six weeks with the aim to cater to the 570,000 people and facilitate access to health care services and fully contain COVID-19 among the population of the region.
